CHARACTER SUMMARY

Kurama is the Autumn God, one of the six gods that preside over Azuma. For many years he was sealed in his sacred mikoshi until the Rune Dancer came and cracked the thing open. He claims he was manifested "against his will" but carries out his divine duties nonetheless. Although he is stern he does care deeply about the people of Autumn Village and all of Azuma.

He loves games of any era and often uses terminology that confuses his fellow gods. The easiest way to get him out of the shrine is to bring some game or ask for his help in learning the rules. The children of Autumn Village come to him often, to hear stories or learn a new game. Even with poor sportsmanship like, say, eating a shogi piece, Kurama will usually still play with someone again.

▶ THREADJACKING.
▷ In network-style threads, yes. For in-person or log-based threads please make sure you've checked with both me and my thread partner!
▶ MULTI-THREADING.
▷ While there are occasional threads I want to finish to know where two characters stand, I'm generally open to multiple threads going on at once! Especially if one is backtagging a smutty thread, I like to still have some stuff moving forward.
▶ FOURTHWALLING.
▷ No, although suspiciously similar video games or game plots are fine.
▶ OFF-LIMITS.
▷ Personal player squicks include fingernail damage and detailed descriptions of vomit.
▶ SHIPPING.
▷ I'm already shipping them in my head right now. Due to the nature of Golden Peacock no relationships will be exclusive but feel free to chat me up if you ever want our characters to be official.
▶ TAG STYLE.
▷ I tend to favor action brackets and can't resist putting a few jokes in the metatext. Kurama tends to think a lot and talk a lot but don't feel like your character has to match his freak.
▶ OTHER.
▷ In fact, if Kurama ever starts yapping, I'll usually just write out the whole paragraph BUT your character does not need to be cemented in place for it. Just let me know in the response where they interrupt him and we'll go forward with that.

IN CHARACTER

▶ HUGGING.
▷ Go ahead! Kurama is used to the village kids latching onto him so hugging doesn't fluster him too much.
▶ KISSING.
▷ Go ahead! While unused to it he doesn't have qualms about it.
▶ FLIRTING.
▷ Go ahead! The style of flirting will determine how receptive he is to it. Eventually he will also learn to reciprocate and flirt in his own way.
▶ ROMANCE.
▷ Go ahead! Kurama's a deeply lonely person and if any character can get past his protective shell he can become very attached.
▶ FIGHTING.
▷ Go ahead! Kurama is more a mage than a traditional fighter so in physical competitions he will likely struggle. That said, he can have a temper and isn't against picking fights he may lose.
▶ INJURY.
▷ As a god, Kurama is difficult to deeply injure. If you believe your character has the means and intent to deeply injure him, let's talk out a scenario for it. If you just wanna bruise him up then go for it.
▶ DEATH.
▷ I'd prefer plotlines in which Kurama is killed protecting someone than an interpersonal murder but, like, it's on the table!
▶ PHYSICAL MANIPULATION.
▷ He never wants to move, so please move him.
▶ MENTAL MANIPULATION.
